What are our prices and payment options?

We have two available lessons times.

- 1/2 slot at $30.

- 1 hour slot at $50.

We offer 3 payment options.

1. Full Term (Bank Transfer)

2. 1/2 Term (Bank Transfer)

3. Weekly Direct Debit system through Pay Advantage.

How to book a free trial lesson?

Yes, we offer a free face 2 face 1/2 hour music lessons for students who book with us here through our Drum Hub website email.

What's our terms and conditions?

Cancellation policy

- All lessons are to be paid up front, no refunds for unattended lessons.

- Payment will be forfeited for on the day cancellations.

- With more than 24 hour notice given of cancellation,

students can have a make up lesson, subject to other cancellations that fall within that week.

- Students can have 2 make up lesson per term.

- 2 weeks notice on all Family holidays, school camps.

- For long term injury or illness, we require a 1/2 lesson fee to hold your spot permanently.

- 2 week written notice for permanent cancellation of lessons.

Biography

Joel Hammond

Joel Hammond drum and tuition teacher, originated from QLD Zia drum clinic on the Sunshine Coast, whilst in my 4 years of schooling there, I focused on all aspects of my theory, notation and dynamics, tempo marks, time signatures and all music genres of rock/ pop/ metal/ blues/ funk.

Whilst gigging on the Sunshine Coast for a few years, my music career guided me to move to Brisbane where I followed my passion to write and perform original music. I was lucky enough to meet and converse with many different musicians and form a successful band and started touring and performing. Though Brisbane was my main city I found myself broadening to more of an Australian audience which lead me to tour Australia wide, such as Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Tasmania, up and down the coast from Byron Bay to Bundaburg music festivals and grunge tours.

I’ve shared many experiences with fellow musicians and was lucky enough to play and tour with bands such as, Rogue Traders, Killing Hedi, Magic Dirt, Operator Please, The radiators, Blow Hard etc.

Music while it can be very challenging at times, I would never change anything, it was and still is a very strong passion of mine, and I find the next logical step is to teach and pass on the teachings experiences and stories that I have encountered so one day students can tell their own story.

Philosophy

I believe sounds and vibrations are the music of our soul. I believe music is such a powerful tool.

I use music as a platform to teach and boost your confidence and self esteem and make you stand out in a crowd.

I believe each and everyone deserves to learn all aspects of music and grow as an individual and let their musicial journey guide them to where they need to be.
